Taking the first step to go to therapy is HUGE; especially at a time when you might be experiencing big feelings that you want to sort out but don't know how. Let me share with you how I approach something new and scary in my own life.
See, I like to hike... kinda. It's weird but every time I start a hike I think, "Why am I doing this? This is hard!" But I keep walking and eventually get into a groove. I start noticing small things along the trail. I have meaningful conversations with my hiking partner or clarifying thoughts when I'm alone. And at the end of the path; tired, sweaty and somehow rejuvenated, I think, "That was great. I can't wait to go again."
That my friends... is just like therapy.
You may be hesitant to start.
You may feel like it's going to be too hard.
You may not feel confident that you'll find your groove.
But you will! And I can help you!
